Monday 6th July, Tuesday 7th July
Day 1 of the Junior Masters was held at The Dunes with a two tee start. 93 boys and girls ranging in age from 9–17 years took to the fairways. After a very cold start players had ideal playing conditions. The course was well prepared by the grounds staff.
Day 2 was held at Moonah Links on the Open Course. Players hit off at 8am in a shotgun start. The weather was overcast but again conditions were ideal for good golf. Some very good scores were posted on the day. Results were close over the two days of the tournament, with a number of countbacks required to get winners for the awards.
A huge thank you to the staff at The Dunes and Moonah Links for all your work on both days and before the event. Your tireless work has helped us run a very successful two day event for juniors from all over the state.
