GPV Women’s Clinic at the National

Sixty women enjoyed perfect conditions at the women’s clinic held today at The National Golf Club.

Under the expert tutorage of six professional golfers the women were divided into groups based on their GA handicaps. All aspects of the game were covered – putting, chipping, bunker play and long game over the 3 hours of the clinic.

Discussion on what they had learned continued over a sumptuous buffet lunch.

Grace Lennon (PGA Member) then recounted her golfing journey from a mere 6 year old picking up her first club to the teaching and touring professional that she is today.

The GPV would like to thank The National Golf Club for providing the exceptional practice facilities for the clinic. Also the professionals Tim Stone, Andrew Kloprogge, Wendy Dragojlo, Liam Reaper, Grace Lennon, and Tom Buckley on imparting their knowledge to the girls. It is hoped that their enjoyment of the game will be enhanced by the experience.

The next GPV Women’s clinic will be conducted again at The National on 13 May 2027. Clubs will be advised early in 2027.
