The first round of the 2026 GPV District Championships was held earlier today at The Dunes golf club. The course presented really well and feedback from the competitors was very positive about the venue and the course condition.

We were very lucky to have excellent weather.

Scoring was also of a high standard.

Leader in the Mens section is Moonah Links’ Oscar Koch with an excellent round of 69.  Paul Fisicaro, also of Moonah Links, is  a shot behind on 70 gross. A number of other players are within three shots, including last year’s winner Jonas Lafin. Click Here For Results

Mens nett leader is Paul Fisicaro on 67, with Lee Dennis (Devil Bend),  Scott Drummond(Cerberus),  and  local Dunes man Matt Farley on nett 70. Click Here For Results

In the Ladies gross, local member Mary-Ann Elson  is leading on 79,   ahead of Mornington’s Abby Coombes  on 83. Click Here For Results

Women’s Nett is led by Mary-Ann  Elson on 71, with both Syve Chapman(The Dunes) and Vicki Colliver(Portsea) just one shot behind. Click Here For Results

Tee times will be seeded with leading gross players going out last.

Prizes will be presented afterwards at the Moonah Links clubhouse.
