SORRENTO PLATE 2024

The Sorrento Plate, GPV’s annual women’s four-ball event, was held on 4 July at the Sorrento Golf Club, and as usual attracted a near-capacity field.

This event was initiated by Ronnie Ferguson of Sorrento originally as a fund-raiser for junior girls in golf, although unfortunately she wasn’t able to be at the club this year.  GPV appreciates very much the backing that Sorrento GC still gives the event and the course was presented immaculately for us.

This year’s winners were Kellie Farrington of Rosebud Country Club and Donna Taggart of Mornington Golf Club, with a wonderful score of 53 stableford points.  Clare Martell and Brylee Cucanic were runners-up with 47.
