The date for the the Eric Lucas Shield 2021 is Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Flinders Golf Club.  Save the date with more information to follow closer to the event.

 

JUNIOR MASTERS 2021

The Junior Masters is to be played at The Dunes on 5 July and Rosebud on 6 July, 2021.  Save the date with more information to follow closer to the event.

2021 EVENT INFORMATION

With the appointment of Adam Phillips to the Junior Co-ordinator position on the GPV Committee, we’re now looking forward to conducting a Junior Pennant competition.   Due to the current pandemic of COVID-19 this event has been postponed with dates to be fixed. More information will be made available when a schedule has been arranged.

Junior Pennant  is a handicap matchplay teams competition. Players must be a member of an affiliated GPV club and be 19 years of age or under on the first day of the pennant season.

Order Of Merit 2018

The winners of the Junior Order of Merit trophies for 2018 were:

Boys’ best gross – Matt Lever – The National

Boys’ best nett – James Hogan-Keogh – Cerberus GC

Girls’ best gross – Molly McLean – Rosebud CC

Girls’ best nett – Aleisha Hannam-Lewis – Mornington GC

The Junior Order of Merit (OOM) is a ranking event open to all junior members of an affiliated GPV club under the age of 19 and under as at January 1, 2018. The event comprises of all strokeplay events played within the district.

The top 10 boys in each event (gross and nett) receive points which accumulate throughout the year. The player earning the highest points in each section being awarded their respective trophies at the final event of the year, the Schools Championship. To be eligible for the trophy, a player must play at least 5 OOM tournaments with the best 4 scores counting.

Girls OOM (gross and nett) accumulate throughout the year, a player must play at least 5 OOM tournaments with the best 4 scores counting to be eligible for the title. The highest aggregate in both events being awarded their respective trophies at the final event of the year, the Schools Championship.

MYGOLF LEAGUE

EVENT INFORMATION

Golf Australia’s My Golf League was held at The National (Long Island site) on Sunday the 24th of November in near perfect conditions.

The My Golf League event comprises of club and district teams from across the peninsula and South East. MyGolf Junior League aims to provide a relaxed, fun, introductory competitive experience for MyGolfers who are currently participating in or who have graduated from their MyGolf Club Program. MyGolfers represent their club in teams and play a 2-ball Ambrose match play format.

Matches are played on Sunday afternoons over a five-week period at My Golf clubs (24th February – 31st March)
